The Experience
here's what to expect when capturing your furry heart & soul
Pet sessions outdoors or in the
comfort of your home.
Leafy ferns, aged barns, tall trees, vast fields, or an urban street, let the sun play a magical part in your session. Want something a little more personal? In-home sessions are just as special! And once in a while a natural light studio is just what we need.

My dog is NOT reliable off-leash! If I book a session, how will we ever get him to come back?GREAT question!! Here's the secret- MOST of my doggy clients are on leash when I photograph them, and/or are being held gently in one spot. For most of the final images I will be able to remove leads/tie-outs, or arms/hands. The joys of technology! PLUS, I'll have treats and squeakies, so duh, they'll love me!
-
What if my dog is very timid and shy? This happens often! With a dog trainer background, I can assure you I will win over your pup. I am sure to use non-confrontational behavior and allow your dog to connect with me in their own time. This is where the Consultation can come in handy!
-
Can I have a shot with my whole family at our Pet Session?ALWAYS!! There is a fee to add the family to the session with your pet, but you won't regret it!
-
My dogs are crazy high energy and I don't think they'll listen to a word I say, how on earth would you get a photo of them!?Lucky for you, I've worked with MANY high-energy breeds... in fact they are the most fun! I love action shots so we can wear out some of that energy while shooting running and jumping. Being a dog trainer, I can often teach a dog a couple commands right at our session... woo!
-
What happens if my pet is just not cooperating?Don't stress! I will work hard to get whatever images I can. If I feel we should have a second session, possibly in a different location, we will plan that. Sometimes it just takes a little extra time to warm up! I want you to love your images and be happy with the outcome.
